In Jharkhand, leaders of all political parties are making last ditch efforts to woo the voters as campaigning for the fifth and final phase of Assembly elections comes to an end at 3.00 PM today. Polling for the remaining 16 seats will be held on Friday. Counting will be held on Wednesday. <br/><br/>The Election Commission has deputed a senior official to Patna to co-ordinate the security matters for fifth phase polling. An official of the Election Commission told AIR that adequate security network is being established in all the districts of Jharkhand bordering Bihar to thwart any Naxal activity on poll day. He said, adequate number of security forces, both Central and State, are being deployed for free, fair and violence-free elections in the State. Around 75,000 jawans and officers are being deployed along with six helicopters for air surveillance.<br/><br/><br/>
