Senior BJP leader L K Advani termed the fracas in the Lok Sabha as disgraceful. Talking to reporters, Mr Advani said that in such chaotic conditions, the government should only go for a vote-on-account and nothing else.

Congress has demanded strictest punishment against the MPs who were involved in today's violent incidents in the Parliament. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, party spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi condemned the incidents calling them extremely sad.

CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury said, the Congress has not taken a reasonable decision on Telangana issue.
