Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly Devendra Fadnavis has accused the state government of misleading the common man by rebranding Centre's ongoing schemes as its own.<br />'' <br />''Speaking to reporters, Mr. Fadnavis said Rs 3300 crore out of the Rs 5,476 crore financial package announced by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray yesterday is part of this year's budget allocation and nothing new. The BJP leader said at least 88 lakh people in the state are not covered in the Food Security Act because of a faulty survey conducted in 2011, adding that no measures have been announced for these much needy people.<br />'' <br />''Terming the announcements as an eyewash, Mr. Fadnavis said the government is unaware about ground reality. He said that the tribal community has not received Rs 4000 DBT as was announced under the Khavti Yojana last year and have been promised just half of it in the near future. Stating that financial assistance has only been announced for registered hawkers, totally ignoring the fact that except for Mumbai and Thane districts, other districts do not have many registered street vendors.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Fadnavis also rued the fact that the government has failed to announce additional measures like increase in bed capacity, ventilators and how it plans to overcome logistical issues related to oxygen production and transport. He added that the government must also look beyond Mumbai and Pune and understand that other cities like Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik and many others are also facing a crisis situation due to lack of infrastructure.</span><br />
