Goa Health Minister Mr Laxmikant Parsekar will be the new Chief Minister of Goa. BJP General Secretary and Centre observer Pratap Rudy announced the name of next Chief Minister in the presence of Former Karnataka Chief Miniser B S Yedurappa and Goa desk incharge Mr Purshottam Rupala .

Ongoing Deputy Chief Minister Francis D Souza will be in the new Deputy Chief Minister of Goa. Mr Rudy said that the MLAs have unanimously selected Mr Parsekar as the leader of BJP legislature.

Outgoing Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Parrikar proposed Mr Laxmikant Parsekar name as new Chief Minister of Goa which was supported by Francis D Souza, he informed.

The swearing in ceremony of the newly elected will take place today evening. Ten members are likely to take oath along with CM and Deputy CM.

Including CM and Deputy Chief Minister total ten members will likely to take oath. BJP alliance partner in Goa Maharashtrawadi Gomentak Partys (MGPs) two members will also take the oath along with CM.

In Afternoon outgoing CM Mr Manohar Parrikar Faxed his resignation to Governor of Goa Smt Mrudila Sinha.
