Former state Health Minister, Laxmikant Parsekar sworn in as Chief Minister of Goa in Raj Bhavan Saturday evening.

Earlier, Mr. Parsekar was elected unanimously as Chief Minister at the Legislative Party meeting.

France's Dsouza was also sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister.

Talking to reporter, BJP Central Observer, Rajiv Pratap Rudy said outgoing Chief Minister, Manohar Parrikar proposes Parsekar's name as Chief Minister which was supported by Frances Dsouza.

He said that Goa Cabinet will constitute ten ministers and portfolios will be decided and distributed later.
