Lawyers, media persons clash outside Bangalore civil court

In Karnataka, there was a clash between lawyers and media persons outside city civil court in Bangalore today. The incident happened while former Karnataka Tourism Minister, Ghali Janardhan Reddy was produced in the court in connection with the illegal mining. There was tension outside the court premises when lawyers objected to the presence of cameraman in the vicinity. The police tried to control the situation using mild lathi charge and firing teargas shells. However, violence and stone pelting continued. As per the latest report, the situation remained tense outside the court premises as some miscreants lit fire to some cars and two wheelers parked in the premises. Section 144 is clamped around the civil court. The Chief Minister and Home Minister directed the DGP to enforce law and order in the surrounding of civil court.
