In Uttar Pradesh, Judicial work in the courts was badly affected today as lawyers across the state struck work for a day on a call by the Uttar Pradesh Bar Council. Chairman of the Council Imran Mahbood Khan told AIR correspondent this evening that protest was called against the series of attacks on lawyers in different districts .he council is demanding proper security to the advocates and at court premises and actions against police officials responsible for lathi charge on advocates.
