The Law Commission has received about 70 thousand public responses on the introduction of Uniform Civil Code and it still continues to receive public views in this regard. <br/><br/>The responses received through post and e-mail are being examined. In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said the Commission has prepared a questionnaire and sought public views and opinions since October 2016. He said the Commission had held meetings and discussions with certain stakeholders.<br/>
