The Law Commission is considering whether the sedition law needs amendments. This follows a request by the Home Ministry to study the usage of Section 124 A of the Indian Penal Code dealing with sedition. This information was given by the Minister of State for Home Hansraj Gangaram Ahir in the Lok Sabha today.
