The West Bengal State Home Secretary Mr Ardhendu Sen has said that, the law and other situation in the Naxalist infested Jungle areas of Bankura, Purulia and West Midnapore is stable. Talking to the news persons, at the state secretariat. The Writer’s Building in Kolkata today, the Home Secretary said that, a large number of Maoists have been arrested in these areas. Mr. Sen also said that, the Union Home Minister Mr. P.Chidambaram has given a number of suggestions after his visit to Lalgarh yesterday to tackle the Maoists menace. The Home Secretary said that, the Maoist affected areas where the Union Home Minister Mr. P.Chidambaram has mentioned in his discussions with state officials, have already been taken care of by the Joint Forces of the Center and the State. Mr. Sen said that, the Home Minister has been told about the situation of all the Maoist affected places in the state.
