<span style="color: #222222;">The Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju today said that Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) are fully secure due to its technical and administrative safeguards.<br />''<br />''In a written reply to the Lok Sabha, the Minister said that there is no proposal under consideration to adopt the methodology being used by the developed countries for the electoral process in place of voting machines.<br />''<br />''He also added that so far no cases have been reported by the Election Commission of India (ECI) regarding misuse of EVMs in the country.<br />''<br />''The Minister further said according to the ECI the voting machines used by it are designed to meet the requirements of electoral laws and processes being allowed in the country.</span><br />
