Law and Justice Minister Dr Ashwani Kumar today called on all political parties to rise above political lines to support the government decision on FDI in retail. Speaking to reporters outside parliament Ashwani Kumar said, everyone know the decision will benefit the farmers of the country, provide employment and livelihood opportunities in rural and urban areas. He said, FDI in retail will also assist in checking rot of food grains and vegetables as infrastructure facilities will improve. He also asked the BJP not to sensationalize the issue for gaining political mileage.
