Latvia will organise special events to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore next year. This was stated by the Latvian President Dr Valdis Zatlers during a bilateral meeting with Vice President M Hamid Ansari in Brussels today. Dr Valdis Zatlers noted that food processing, Information Technology and pharmaceuticals are some of the areas the two countries can cooperate. Both sides also agreed that there is an urgent need to reform the United Nations.
