Last rites of VHP leader Ashok Singhal will be performed in New Delhi this evening. 90-year old Singhal passed away yesterday. He was suffering from serious respiratory problems and was admitted in a private hospital in Gurgaon. A bachelor and an RSS pracharak all his life, Singhal was the prominent leader of temple movement in Ayodhya. <br/><br/>A meeting of NDA allies scheduled for today in New Delhi has been postponed due to demise of the VHP leader. The meeting was to take place in New Delhi to discuss the strategy for the upcoming Winter Session of Parliament commencing from 26th of this month.
