The last rites of Border Security Force constable Nitin Subhash Koli, who lost his life in ceasefire violation by Pakistan in the Machil Sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, were performed in Maharashtra's Sangli district with full military honour today. <br/><br/>The 28-year-old constable Koli, hailing from Dudhgaon village in Sangli, was martyred on Saturday. Thousands of villagers from Dudhgaon today bid a tearful adieu to the martyr. State ministers Chandrakant Patil and Sadabhau Khot were among those who paid tributes to the martyr. <br/><br/>Earlier, his body was taken to his home and later kept at the Karmveer Chowk to enable people pay their last respects. Koli had joined BSF in 2008 and is survived by his wife and two sons aged four years and two years.
