<span style="color: #222222;">The last date for submission of applications for the National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) for the year 2022-23 has been extended till 30th of this month. The Education Ministry said, under the scheme, scholarships are awarded to meritorious students of economically weaker sections to stop their drop out at class 8th level and encourage them to continue their education. The amount of scholarship is 12 thousand rupees per annum. The Ministry said, students whose parental income is not more than 3 lakh 50 thousand per annum are eligible to avail of the scholarships. </span><br />
