Afghanistan President, Ashraf Ghani today issued an ultimatum to the Taliban, warning them to embrace peace or face consequences. <br/><br/>Speaking at an international peace conference on Afghanistan in Kabul, attended by around two dozen countries, Ghani said his country is offering a last chance for peace and ask them to take it or face consequences. <br/><br/>Kabul has been on edge since the massive truck bomb last Wednesday ripped through the city's highly fortified diplomatic quarter, home to the presidential palace and a host of foreign embassies. <br/><br/>The government has accused the Taliban-allied Haqqani Network of carrying out Wednesday's attack, and it was carried out by bombers trained at a religious seminary in Pakistan. <br/><br/>Meanwhile the death toll from the devastating attack has jumped to more than 150 people with over 300 people wounded, many of them with burns and amputations.
