The largest ever water supply scheme in Himachal Pradesh was inaugurated today in Kangehan area of Kangra district. Conustructed at a cost of 70 crore rupees, the scheme will benefit a population of one lakh 31 thousand people. This will cater to Changer area which was facing water scarcity. The ambitious Lift Water Supply Scheme inaugurated by Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal will cater a population scattered over 35 panchayats of Tehsils Jaisinghpur, Dehra, Khundian and Palampur.
