Large-scale attack thwarted in France

In France, a large scale attack has been thwarted, following the arrest of 5 persons in Strasbourg and Marseille. <br/><br/>Paris prosecutor Francois Molins has said, the suspects were planning a terror attack in the country as early as next week on orders from Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant group members.<br/><br/>French media reports that possible targets included the Paris law courts, headquarters of the judicial police, the Christmas market on the Champs-Elysees and the Disneyland theme-park east of the city.<br/><br/>The four arrested in Strasbourg are all French nationals of North African origin while the fifth man is a Moroccan. <br/><br/>France remains under a state of emergency following the attacks in Paris in November 2015 that killed 130 people.
