Lankan Navy arrests four Indian fishermen

Sri Lanka Navy arrested four Indian fishermen and nabbed one fishing trawler on charges of violating the International Maritime Boundary and illegal poaching in Sri Lankan waters. According to the Sri Lankan Navy Spokesman, Captain Arshad Alawi, the fishermen, who were arrested early this morning, have been taken to the Kankesanthurai harbor where they will be handed over to civilian authorities for further legal action.<br/><br/>With these arrests, the number of Indian fishermen in Sri Lankan custody now stands at 103 and the number of Indian fishing boats at 91.
