Sri Lanka have won the two-match Test series against Bangladesh by a one-nil margin. The second Test between the two teams ended in a draw on the fifth and final day at Chittagong today. After being set an improbable victory target of 467 runs, Bangladesh were 271 for 3 when stumps were drawn on the final day. Both sides accepted the draw as soon as Mominul Haque reached 100, his third Test hundred in the post-tea session.Sri Lanka had won the first Test by an innings and 248 runs in Dhaka last week. Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara, who joined Englishman Graham Gooch as the only batsmen to score a triple-century and a century in the same Test, was declared both the man of the match and the player of the series.The final scores:-Sri Lanka – 587 & 305 for 4 declared. Bangladesh – 426 and 271 for 3. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will play two Twenty20 matches in Chittagong on Wednesday and Friday, before starting athree-match one-day series in Sylhet on February 17.
