After the end of the ethnic conflict, the Sri Lankan Tourism Ministry has drawn fresh plans to promote the country as a grand tourist destination at the international level. Secretary to the Ministry of Tourism, A.D. George said that the Government will be spending 700 million rupees for this mega promotional campaign.This giant step will include all types of advertising and promotional activities aimed at educating the prospectus tourists to chose Sri Lanka as their tourist destination.
