The UN High Commissioner for Refugees has said that Sri Lanka will be free of internally displaced persons by the end of next month. In a communiqu’, the UNHCR said the island nation has established peace and harmony in the country. It said the Sri Lankan government has managed to systematically complete the resettlement of IDPs within the past few months and therefore, no country in the world should accept any Sri Lankan as a refugee.
