Both the Houses of Parliament stand adjourned till noon. In the Lok Sabha, the DMK and AIADMK members trooped into the well of the House over the Sri Lankan Tamils issue.

Samajwadi Party members also marched into the well, demanding the sacking of Steel Minister Beni Prasad Verma. Amidst uproar, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House till noon.
Similar scenes were witnessed in the Rajya Sabha as well, on identical issues.

The DMK and AIADMK members trooped into the well of the House displaying the pictures of the killed son of former LTTE leader Prabhakaran. The AIADMK members squatted on the floor of the House as Chairman Mohd. Hamid Ansari waited patiently, urging the agitated members to return to their seats.

They were joined by Samajwadi Party members who were protesting against the continuance of Steel Minister Beni Prasad Verma in the Cabinet. When the uproar did not subside, the Chairman adjourned the House till noon.
