Lanka rout Zimbabwe by nine wickets at Bulawayo

In the Tri-Series cricket match at Bulawayo today, Sri Lanka defeated Zimbabwe by nine wickets in a rain-truncated match. Set a victory target of 119 runs, the Lankans achieved the target in15.2 overs. Tilakratne Dilshan was the top-scorer with an unbeaten 60. Earlier, put in to bat, the hosts were skittled out for 118 in 24.5 overs. The match was reduced to a 26-over affair due to persistent downpour before the start. This is Sri Lanka's first win in two matches in the Tri-Series. On Sunday, they had suffered a seven-wicket loss against India. Zimbabwe have now one victory in two fixtures. In their first match, the hosts had stunned India with a six-wicket triumph. India will meet Zimbabwe in their THIRD match in the Tri-Series on Thursday.
