As the international rights group accused the Sri Lankan authorities of harassment of media, the Sri Lankan police sealed off the premises belonging to the ‘Lanka’ newspaper a day after it took its editor into custody. Police Spokesman I M Karunaratne said that a court order has been obtained prior to entering the premises.<br/>Editor of the ‘Lanka’ newspaper, Chandana Sirimalwatte was arrested a day earlier by the CID after being called over to make a statement regarding a published article that had made revelations about a senior government official.<br/>
