Sri Lanka humbled India by defeating the visitors by nine wickets in the second ODI in Hambantota. Having dismissed India for 138 in the 34th over on Tuesday, Sri Lanka openers raced to chase the target of 139 and the islanders achieved it in just 19.5 overs for the loss of one wicket. Sri Lanka has thus levelled the 5 ODI series 1-1.Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat. Thisara Perera and Angelo Mathews took three wickets each and Lasith Malinga claimed two wickets to help Sri Lanka bowl out India for 138. Gautam Gambhir with 65 was the lone Indian batsman who stood firm while wickets kept falling on the other hand. The third ODI match of the series will be played in Colombo on Saturday.
