In Manipur, the ruling Congress has won a landslide victory in three of the eight municipal councils which went on poll Monday last. The party came out also to be the single largest party in the remaining five municipal councils. In the nagar panchayat elections also, the ruling party is going far ahead of other political parties. Counting of votes for the urban local body election is going on since early morning today.
