In Uttarakhand, the road leading to the holy shrines of Badrinath and Kedarnath has been closed following landslides at different places. According to Disaster Management and Medication Centre, Rishikesh-Badrinath Highway has been blocked between Devprayag and Srinagar Garhwal while Kedar Nath route has been disrupted between Agastya Muni and Silly following the landslide. The district officials are trying to clear the debris and reopen the road. Meanwhile, one labourer was killed in Tehri district after being hit by falling rocks.
