In China, a landslide triggered by the tropical storm Sarika has killed seven people in the eastern Fujian Province. Local authorities today said the accident happened on Sunday in Kanshi Town in Longyan City of Fujian. More than 100 cubic meters of landslide buried seven employees of a construction company and their family members living in a house. Officials said their bodies were found after hours of searching. Sarika, this year's third tropical storm later weakened to tropical low pressure after landing in south China.
