Transportation of essential commodities and petroleum products has been hit again on Imphal-Dimapur Road of National Highway-39 due to landslide in Manipur. Our Imphal correspondent reports that the landslide occurred at a stretch about 2 kilometers away from Tadubi towards Imphal.Imphal bound loaded vehicles could not pass the area because of the landslide. Meanwhile, 192 Imphal bound loaded vehicles have left Jiribam for Imphal today along the Imphal-Shilchar Road of National Highway-53. The vehicles were earlier stranded at Jiribam for the last two days. It may be recalled that a 25-day economic blockade called by the United Naga Council, the apex body of Naga tribes in Manipur is going on along the two National Highways, life-lines of Manipur.
