Landslides triggered by heavy rains that lashed entire Jammu region since on Thursday have led to the closure of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district on Friday. The highway has been closed due to the landslides at Panthal and Gangru in Ramsoo area of the district. AIR Correspondent quoting police sources reports that about 500 vehicles have been stranded at various places on the highway due to the closure. The work of road clearing is in progress.
