Landsides kill at least 10 persons in Nepal

<br/>In Nepal, at least 10 persons were killed early this morning in landslides triggered by torrential rains in the western districts. According to police sources, five members of a family including a parent and their three minor children were killed after their house got swept away by landslide at Kristi Nachnechaur village in Kaski district. In the same district, three minors of a family have been killed when the landslide buried their house at Mijuredada village. In Syangja district, a mother and her minor son were killed as their house was washed away by landslide at Jogistan village at Fedikhola. Five other members of the family could manage to escape. Police and army personnel along with local people rushed to the spot for rescue and relief works. Nepal is experiencing incessant rains from Sunday with the monsoon becoming active in several parts of the country.
