Seven Afghan civilians died and four were wounded in a landmine explosion on Friday in southern Kandahar province. Media reports quoting police sources said the dead included two children, three women and two men.Meanwhile press releases issued by the International Joint Command of the NATO forces say that five service memberss were killed in different places on Friday. While three died as a result of a non-battle related injuries in western Afghanistan, two were killed following an improvised explosive device attack in eastern Afghanistan on Friday.
