Landmark container cargo consignment to sail from Haldia Dock Complex to Inland Waterways today

<span style="color: #222222;">A landmark container cargo consignment will sail from Haldia Dock Complex to the Inland Waterways Authority of India terminal at Pandu in Guwahati today. Shipping Secretary Gopal Krishna will flag off the inland vessel MV Maheshwari. The 1425-kilometer long voyage will take 12 to 15 days.<br />''<br />''This is the first ever containerised cargo movement on this Inland Water Transport route.
