Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Bill 2011 will be taken up in Budget Session next year. This was announced by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath in the Lok Sabha today. The members belonging to BJP, SP and CPM pointed out that though the Bill is very important, it has been brought in a hurry. They demanded that the discussion on the Bill be taken up in the next session.
