Lalu and Ram Vilas release joint manifesto of the parties

RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and LJP President Ram Vilas Paswan released the joint manifesto of the parties on Monday. Ten per cent reservation in government jobs to Muslim minorities and the economically weak among the upper castes, raising the age limit in government jobs and reduction in registration rate of flats and land were some of the key points in the joint manifesto. Lalu Yadav said that both the parties will try to address the issue of Naxalism in Bihar by initiating dialogue with the Maoists to bring them in the mainstream. Ram Vilas Paswan said, raising the age limit in jobs for all sections from 35 to 37 years is necessary to tackle unemployment. In the social and development sector, the alliance has laid thrust on the up-gradation of health and education sectors.
