Lalit Modi row, Vyapam: Left parties holding protest against govt at Jantar Mantar

Left parties are protesting against the NDA government at Jantar Mantar in the national capital, a day ahead of the Monsoon session of Parliament. <br/><br/>They are demanding resignation of Union Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje over Lalit Modi controversy as well as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Vyapam scam. <br/><br/>Talking to AIR, CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Brinda Karat said Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks about making the country corruption free, but he should first clean his own Cabinet. <br/><br/>Saying that Left parties will raise these issues in Parliament, she said majority in the Lok Sabha does not mean country will accept such corruption and impropriety. <br/><br/>CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, and CPI leader D Raja are among those who are participating in the protest.
