Lalit Modi replies to BCCI's show-cause notice

Suspended IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi today responded to the first showcause notice with a whoping 12,000-page reply. The Board of Cricket Control of India had served the notice to him for alleged financial irregularities. Modi had got an extension of five days from May 10 deadline. He submitted his reply through his lawyers, who brought in the papers in at the Board's headquarters in Mumbai. BCCI Chief Administrative Officer Ratnakar Shetty received the papers and documents on behalf of the Board. Modi's lawyer Memmood S Abdi said they want Modi to be reinstated as IPL Chairman and Commissioner. However he did not elaborate on the content.
