Lalit Kala Akademi announced its 59th National Academy Awards today. A total number of 15 awards were given in various forms of visual arts. <br/><br/>10 awards were given for the age group between 30-50 year and 5 were handed over to the age group of above 50 years.<br/><br/>Taking to All India Radio in New Delhi, the academy's administrator CS Krishna Setty told, a national exhibition is held every year where artists from across the country participate. He said, this year the academy received 3644 entries out of which 172 were selected for exhibition display. <br/><br/>
