The West Bengal Government has decided to compensate schools and colleges in Lalgarh and its surrounding areas in West Midnapore District, which have suffered losses due to the occupation of their premises by the joint security forces of the Centre and the State.<br/><br/>Talking to newspersons at the State Secretariat, the Writers’ Buildings in Kolkata on Friday, the State Chief Secretary, Mr. Ashok Mohan Chakraborty said that the schools and colleges that have suffered losses due to the occupation by joint forces, would have to submit their pleas to the respective District Magistrates of their areas to avail the compensation.<br/><br/>Mr. Chakraborty also said that the students who had suffered losses in their studies would be compensated by special tuitions to be carried out by retired teachers.<br/>
