In Rajasthan, lakhs of school students performed Surya Namaskar together in thousands of government and private schools across the state. On the occasion of Surya Saptami, this program was organized by the Education Department today between 10.30 am to 11 am. School education department has claimed to set a record of simultaneous practice of Surya Namaskar in such a large number.<br />''<br />''According to an estimate, more than 50 lakh students of the state have practiced Surya Namaskar at the same time. Apart from students, teachers, staff, parents and citizens also performed Surya Namaskar. Rehearsals for this program were conducted in schools for the last 15 days. Education Minister of the state Madan Dilawar performed Surya Namaskar in the state level programme held at Chaugan Stadium in Jaipur. On this occasion, Mr. Dilawar said that the practice of Surya Namaskar keeps the body and mind healthy and removes different types of disorders.<br />
