In Pakistan, the Lahore High Court today dismissed a contempt of court petition filed against Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani for making a statement supporting Asif Ali Zardari's decision to hold the posts of President and chief of the ruling Pakistan People's Party. However, Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry remarked that Gilani should not have commented on a matter that is sub-judice.
