LAHDC Kargil to shift passenger vehicles to newly constructed bus stand in J&K from Nov 5

In Jammu and Kashmir, taking into consideration the erupting traffic problem in Kargil Town the LAHDC Kargil has decided to shift all the Buses, Minibuses, Taxis and other passenger vehicles, to the newly constructed Bus Stand at Rantakh near Iqbal Bridge, from 5th of November.This was decided during a high level meeting under the Chairmanship of Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan.The meeting was attended by Executive Councilor Haji Ghulam Amir Kamran and Syed Kazim Sabere, Deputy Commissioner Kargil M Raju, SSP Kargil Javed Iqbal Matoo, Assistant Regional Transport Officer Kargil Khadim Hussain and Executive Officer MCD Kargil Sajjad Munshi.The CEC directed the concerned officer to demark points for parking different type of vehicles e.g Buses, minibuses etc. at the new bus stand upto 5th November so that there will be no problem in the future.It was also decided in the meeting that the current stands will be allotted for private parking points in the Market.
