The 167.25 Crore rupee annual work plan was submitted to Project Approval Board (PAB-2021) of Ministry of Education for consideration.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Setting up of Six new 100 bedded hostels, strengthening of the existing school infrastructure, quality interventions, tablets for teachers, setting up of ICT labs, textbooks and uniforms for the students are major components in the next year's plan for Ladakh,. It is also proposed to vocationalize the education in 13 schools, strengthen the vocational education infrastructure in 29 existing Schools and strengthening of DIET and Sports Infrastructure in the schools. Before the commencement of academic year, in Nine zones of the UT Ladakh, a mega community campaign on enrolment drive in the catchment area of 27 Higher Secondary Schools and 57 High Schools was conducted.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''4,500 teachers of Ladakh, have completed training in all the 18 modules in NISHTHA Program on DIKSHA. Similarly, 3600 teachers have attended capacity building training IMPACT' by the NCERT.&nbsp; The Governing Body also discussed vacancies at different levels in Ladakh and decided to expedite the process of hiring manpower under Samagra Shiksha. Similarly, the School Education Department was directed to take up the matter of untrained teachers with IGNOU for allocation of slots for B.Ed and Diploma in Elementary Education.</span><br />
