Ladakh Union Territory administration is planning to launch a network of Community Radios by early next year.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''With the education department and various schools as licensees, the network would have a central studio and 48 transmission locations with priority to connect the un-connected areas of the region. The network will be utilized to meet the requirements in the fields of education and disaster management in Ladakh.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''In the review meeting, chaired by Ladakh Advisor Umang Narula, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry's BECIL gave a presentation on the Community Radio implementation strategy.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">In the meeting, the senior officials also discussed the budget, policy guidelines, eligibility criteria, technical parameters and other key issues.</span><br />
