Union Territory Ladakh received Four Critical Care Life Support Ambulances from National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) of Road Transport and Highways Ministry. At a ceremony on Saturday, Ladakh MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal flagged off the ambulances for public service. AIR correspondent reports that under CSR programme the NHIDCL has handed over Four state of art ambulances worth nearly One and Half crore rupees to Health department of Union Territory Ladakh. After Principal Secretary of UT Administration Pawan Kotwal inaugurating, Leh CMO Dr. Dorjey Motup received the vehicles in the presence of Leh Hill Council CEC Tashi Gyaltson, MP Jamyang and Leh DC Shrikant Suse. Speaking on the occasion, MP JTN thanked Road Transport & Highways Ministry for immediate response to provide ambulances for the welfare of Ladakh.<br />'' <br />''The Ultra modern ambulances will be utilized to serve transport the patients from remotest corners of Ladakh region to CHCs or to District Hospitals in Leh and Kargil.
