Ladakh Parliamentary constituency to go to poll on Monday

<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh Parliamentary constituency will go to poll in the fifth phase of elections on Monday. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Geographically it is one of the largest constituency in the country and sparsely inhabitated. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">1,74, 618 voters are to exercise their franchise to elect their representative for Ladakh in the lower house. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">BJP, INC and two Independent candidates are contesting the election. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The campaign is in full swing and it will come to an end Thursday evening. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports, both political parties and the contesting candidates are making every effort to woo the voters in thier favour. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">To reach out to the voters, the candidates are organising rallies, corner meetings, cycle and bike rallies and indoor meetings. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">State leaders of BJP are camping in Ladakh since Jamyang Tsering Namgyal filed his nomination. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It is schduled to conclude its campaign by organising a public rally in Ladakh on Thursday. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Senior leaders and Defence Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitarman and Arunachal Pradesh Cheif Minister Mr. Pema Kundu will address the rally later Thursday morning. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Congress candidate Rigzin Spalbar has started poll campaign with a Mega rally. The Party Organised bike and cycle rallies yesterday in different parts of Leh district. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Independent candidates Asgar Ali Karbalai, Sajjad Hussain too held political meetings to woo voters. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The very severe cyclonic storm "FANI" moved slighly northwards and lay centered over coastal Odisha about 50 KM to Northeast of CUTTACK and 60 KM  to the Southwest of Balasore. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Current wind speed of the cyclone is 125-135 KMPH gusting to 150  KMPH. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The very severe cyclonic storm "FANI" is very likely to continue to move north-northeastwards and weaken further into a severe cyclonic storm. </span><br />''  <br />
