<span style="color: #222222;">Member of Parliament Ladakh (MP), Jamyang Tsering Namgyal today chaired a meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) to review the progress achieved under different centrally sponsored schemes in the district.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The MP inquired from the concerned officers in detail about the status of progress achieved so far under the flagship programs like CRF, PMGSY, JJM, MGNREGA, SBM, PMAY-G, SBMG, NHM, Poshan Abhyan, PMFBY and other centrally sponsored schemes.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Expressing satisfaction over the progress achieved in the district, he inquired from about the progress achieved in terms of electrification of schools in the district for which directions were passed in the last DISHA meeting.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Namgyal was informed that all High and Higher Secondary Schools were electrified and around 169 Primary and Middle schools have been provided electricity. He was also informed that through PMEGP scheme, around 162 applications were received for loan of which 158 cases were forwarded to the bank for sanction and among them 67 were sanctioned. The MP Ladakh also directed the ACD Kargil to ensure that toilets constructed under Swatch Bharat Mission (SBM) are winter friendly.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Reiterating the Prime Minister's vision of digital India and mobile connectivity to every nook and corner of the country, Mr. Namgyal informed the meeting that through Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF), around 240 new 4G mobile towers were sanctioned including 99 towers commissioned for Kargil adding that work on the towers will be started in coming working season.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Stressing over the protection of labour rights, he directed the Labour Department to ensure that the labourers engaged in civil works, Administration, Army and BRO be registered on the E-SHRAM portal.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">While reviewing Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) works in the district, MP Ladakh expressed satisfaction in the overall progress achieved so far.</span><br />
