Mr Mathur appealed to the UT Administration and the public to plan and strategize the development with the special package to be announced by the Centre to meet the developmental aspirations of people of Ladakh.<br />'' <br />'' The Lieutenant Governor said, expansion of Kargil Airport, harnessing solar power and geothermal energy, early functional Medical college, industrial infrastructure, encouragement to Tourism, local handicrafts among others are on the priority of the UT Administration.<br />'' <br />''LG also inaugurated a Defence Mela by Army, Ladakh Scouts and ITBP forces displaying various arms, tanks and rescue operations by them.</span>
